What is the Community Connections Expo?

The Community Connections Expo was an all-day event that connected individuals and families to free community resources and vital health services in the Fredericksburg area. Attendees learned what was available to them, signed up for assistance they were eligible for, and walked away with resources they needed to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Who attended the event?

Over 500 people wanted to know about the wide array of community services & resources available in our region. Over 60 different service providers, nonprofits, and community organizations were ready to provide everything from onsite health assessments to free interview clothes. Resources ranged from youth programs to veterans services, there was something for everyone!

No, the entire event was free!

No registration required. Guests simply had to check in at the registration desk when they arrived and were guided through the rest of the event.

Yes, the parking lot at the Fredericksburg Convention Center was open and free to use.
